West Indies struggle against SA \'A\'

The visiting West Indies team continues to struggle against South Africa ‘A’ following today’s match at Buffalo Park.

The hosts, replying to West Indies’ first innings total of 193, reached 351 for seven when stumps were drawn.

South Africa ‘A’ resumed this morning on 78 for one.

Dwayne Bravo was the most successful West Indies bowler with three for 43. Fidel Edwards has so far taken two for 39.

Justin Ontong hit a top score of an unbeaten on 109 for South Africa ‘A’.

He was well supported by Jean-Paul Duminy 62 and Neil McKenzie 54.

The match is the only warm up game for West Indies before their three-Test series with South Africa, which starts on Boxing Day, December 26.
