The police are holding a man wanted in connection with the murders of several persons in Rockfort, East Kingston last year.
The police in Bedward Gardens, August Town, St. Andrew captured the man on Sunday morning.
The East Kingston police have not released his name, but believe he is the main suspect in the killing of seven persons in October last year.
The man is the fourth person detained in connection with the murders.
On October 5, gunmen invaded sections of Rockfort and shot dead seven persons including two children.
The police said the incident was linked to gang warfare.
Three of the persons were killed on Norman Road in Norman Gardens, close to the Mountain View Police Station.
