PNP election causes traffic jam

A strong contingent of mobile and stationed security personnel have enveloped Jamaica College and its environs along Hope Road for today’s People’s National Party (PNP) presidential elections.
Officers of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) have cordoned off sections of the major thoroughfare. This has caused some amount of vehicular congestion with motorists being allowed to drive on the opposite side of the road heading to Papine.
It appears that no vehicular traffic is being allowed to pass directly in front Jamaica College, the all boys’ high school where the voting will take place.
Meanwhile, the delegates and supporters of the candidates are out in their numbers and the vicinity is pulsating with vibes and expectation.
Supporters of the only female contender, Portia Simpson Miller, seems to be overshadowing all the other supporters, as Hope Road has been transformed into a sea of gold with sprinkles of orange being worn by supporters of Dr. Peter Phillips.
