Sabrina Hosang Jordan is the CEO of Caribbean Food Delights. She is a young business leader who is recognised among her peers as a model team builder and motivator. This profound characteristic trait is also seen as the driving force behind her very vocal advocacy for community and the mentor she is today.

Jordan is the second of Vincent and Jeanette's four children. She was born on February 28 in the Bronx, New York, and received her secondary education at Immaculate Conception School in St Andrew. She would later finish her schooling at the Byram Hills High School in Armonk, New York.

After graduating from Byram Hills, Sabrina attended Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania for four years and graduated with a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Management Information Systems.

Caribbean Food Delights, under her leadership, has secured the largest "New York-Empire State Development Grant" of 2018, for US$2.75 million. She is actively working with her team to develop expansion plans. According to all who come in contact with Jordan, she is a visionary who believes in realising the maximum capabilities of her team and the company.

Some of her accolades include the Ernst & Young LLP, Entrepreneur of The Year 2019 Award in the Family Business category in New York, Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) 2015 Woman of Achievement Award, and the 2014 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award.

The young business leader not only lends her expertise and time to the Vincent HoSang Family Foundation, (VHFF) where she is a director, but also to various community organisations whose mission encompasses individual and community empowerment. She is a very proactive board member of Worldwide Community First Responder (WCFR), Jamaican Civic and Cultural Association of Rockland (JAMCCAR), Jawonio (Foundation), and People to People.

Jordan, who admits to wanting to be ‘a princess’ as a child, also says “I loved baking cakes in my own microwave when I was 10 years old. My mom started me very early in the kitchen. I wanted to be a baker where I could make anything my heart desired.” Speaking of her mother’s influence, Jordan believes her upbringing has much to do with the woman she is today.

“My parents. They both taught me how to be strong, kind, generous, helpful, honest, independent, courageous, patient and humble. They also taught me that I could do anything I put my mind to and that I should always do my best in whatever I do because it’s an opportunity for me to grow and improve myself for bigger and better things.”

Jordan, and her dog ‘Brownie’ live in Haverstraw, New York, where she finds the time for cooking, baking, travelling, watching UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) fights, dancing, going to the movies and the beach, and trying new foods.
