A white banner wishing long life for the Queen greeted the Royal Couple as they drove past South Parade for the civic reception at George VI Park on March 3, 1966. Here Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh drive under the banner, bordered in the black green and gold colours of the Jamaican flag, waving to some of the hundreds who had turned out to cheer them.
