Mark Golding confident of victory against Collin Campbell
One of the men aspiring to become the People’s National Party's representative in the South St Andrew constituency, Mark Golding, says he is confident he will emerge victorious in the race against Collin Campbell.
Golding says his confidence is based on the recent endorsement received by the Member of Parliament, Dr Omar Davis, who will relinquish the post of constituency chairman in August.
Golding says he is also well received by the constituents.
However, the former justice minister says although he is positive, he is not complacent, and continues to work to secure a successful result.

Meanwhile, Golding’s opponent, former Jamaica Urban Transit Company managing director, Collin Campbell, says everything is in place for the elections.
Campbell had earlier pointed out that he is not fazed by Davis’ endorsement of Golding.
Today he told The Gleaner/Power 106 FM that he is ready for the elections.
The run-off between Golding and Campbell for the chairmanship of the South St Andrew seat is set for Saturday, July 30.
