Minister of Health, Dr Christopher Tufton, says work to rectify the ventilation problem at the Cornwall Regional Hospital is to get under way shortly.

Tufton says the health ministry has received bids to provide design work.

He says the bids will be considered over the next week.

Operations at the main building of the hospital have been scaled down arising from noxious fumes inside the facility from the malfunctioning ventilation system.
