UTech suspends evening classes at western campus

The University of Technology (UTech) has suspended evening classes at its western campus as a result of gun violence in Montego Bay, St James.

UTech president, Dr Stephen Vasciannie, yesterday issued a circular advising that classes would be suspended yesterday evening and this evening.

He said classes scheduled for up to 5 o’clock in the afternoon would be held as scheduled.

He also urged students and staff to take all necessary precautions to ensure their personal safety.
