Dockery, Shim reinstated in Class One 200m after successful appeal
Lacovia High’s Sabrina Dockery and Immaculate Conception High’s Shevi-Anne Shim have been reinstated in the Girls Class One 200m at the 2025 ISSA/Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium.
They successfully appealed their disqualification earlier today in the semi-finals due to a false start.
The two will compete for a spot in the event’s final, with their qualifying race scheduled for this evening after the Girls 200m heptathlon event.
Dockery, who already claimed the 100m title on Wednesday, is considered one of the heavy favourites to win the 200m.
The 200m final is set for tomorrow at 3:12 p.m. at the National Stadium.
