Man found dead in Dempshire Pen, St Catherine

The police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in Dempshire Pen, Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old labourer Jahoy McDermott of a Spanish Town, St Catherine, address.
Passersby reportedly stumbled upon McDermott's body about 6:10 a.m., in the vicinity of the Dempshire Pen Earl Childhood Centre. They summoned the police.
Upon their arrival, the police observed what appeared to be gunshot wounds on his body.
The Spanish Town Criminal Investigations Branch is conducting a probe of the matter.
