Red Hills, St Andrew man gunned down while streaming live on TikTok
Detectives assigned to the St Andrew North police are probing the murder of a 25-year-old man who was killed during a live stream on TikTok on Monday in Red Hills.
Dead is Jabari Johnson, alias ‘BabaSkenng’.
Reports are that about 6:30 p.m., Campbell was engaged in a TikTok match on live stream in the vicinity of a shop in his community when he was approached by a man on foot armed with a gun.
The gunman opened fire, hitting Campbell multiple times in the head and upper body before escaping on foot in the area.
A screen record of the incident has since gone viral.
Campbell is the third person to be killed while live streaming outside in recent times.
In September 2024, Keauno Watson was killed in Allman Town, St Andrew during a live stream on TikTok.
Also, in December 2024, Xavier ‘Niah Gang’ Fogah was murdered during a live stream.
Another TikToker, Marlon Samuels, otherwise called ‘41Busshead’, was murdered after he ended a live stream, which occurred hours before his birthday in December last year.
Since the start of the year, the St Andrew North Police Division has recorded 12 murders, compared to 14 for the corresponding period in 2024.
