Man dead after New Kingston apartment fire

A fire at the Gallery Apartment in New Kingston reportedly claimed the life of a 74-year-old man on Thursday morning.
Several apartments were damaged by the early morning inferno.
Firefighters were called to the apartment located on Oxford Road just after 3 a.m. Two units were dispatched by the Jamaica Fire Brigade.
The fire reportedly started in the deceased man's penthouse apartment on the sixth floor.
The police and firefighters are investigating.
