Man perishes in fire at his home in Lime Tree Grove

The charred remains of a man were found following a fire at his home in Lime Tree Grove, St Catherine this morning.

Residents reported seeing smoke coming from the dwelling around 10:45 a.m. and called the fire brigade.

Firefighters and police responded.

During cooling-down operations, the body of a man, was found inside a room.

Relatives of the deceased at the scene identified him as 36-year-old Errol 'Bunny' Clarke.

The incident is under investigation.
