Probe launched into suspected drowning of teen boy in Rio Cobre

An investigation is under way into the suspected drowning of a 14-year-old boy in the Rio Cobre in his community of Gordon Pen, St Catherine on Saturday.
The teen has been identified by the police as Raheim Greenfield.
Reports are that about 2:30 p.m., Greenfield went for a swim in the river, got into difficulties, and drowned.
The body was recovered from the water and taken to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A post-mortem examination is to be conducted.
