Four arrested in lottery scam operations in St Thomas

The National Strategic Anti-Gang Division within the Specialised Investigations Branch (SIB) has intensified anti-lottery scamming efforts through a series of operations in St Thomas.

Four individuals have been taken into custody for breaches of the Law Reform (Special Provisions) (Fraudulent Conversion) Act.

The police say they seized over $950,000 in cash, a Mercedes-Benz and several debit cards.

The identities of those in custody are being withheld pending further investigations.
