The police responding to an incident at Balcombe Drive Primary and Junior High School in Olympic Gardens, St Andrew, where a section of a building collapsed, killing a man and injuring another on September 1, 2026.
At least one man is dead and another seriously wounded after a section of a building at Balcombe Drive Primary and Junior High School in Olympic Gardens, St Andrew, collapsed on them.
An alleged eyewitness told our news team that the men were working on the building when tragedy struck.
According to the eyewitness, the men were reportedly using a jackhammer to do work on a column when it gave way.
Our news team saw one man lying dead at the scene, while another was rushed to hospital.
Police and firefighters responded to the scene.
Workers from a funeral home are also at the scene.
