Rojay Hamilton is the new champion in the men's 800 metres after turning back the challenge of defending champion Navasky Anderson to win the event in one minute, 47.28 seconds this evening at the JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium.

Anderson had to settle for second in 1:47.67 while Tyrese Reid was third in 1:48,45.
