Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) and Caymanas Track Limited (CTL) have joined hands in the promotion of Supreme Ventures Sports Betting's fixed-odds brand, Justbet, across the CTL network - a partnership beneficial to both entities.

This was announced at yesterday's launch inside the new Portmore Acropolis Gaming Lounge, opposite the Portmore Mall, by representatives of Supreme Ventures and CTL.

According to Sonia Davidson, vice-president, group corporate communications at Supreme Ventures, the deal includes joint marketing and promotional efforts around the Justbet brand, as well as the installation of Justbet betting terminals at Caymanas Park. This will complement the existing network of Justbet terminals, which have been installed at 46 of the 63 Off Track Betting (OTB) parlours islandwide, including two soon-to-be-opened facilities in Montego Bay (Strand Street) and Port Antonio.

Justbet was launched in January and took the sports betting industry by storm during the FIFA World Cup in the summer. Justbet allows persons to place bets on their favourite international sporting events (English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, the NBA, NFL, etc.) and is now available at approximately 80 locations across the country, with Caymanas OTBs comprising the largest complement of locations.

New phase of growth

"This increased partnership with CTL is another phase in the growth of the Justbet brand, as we solidify our status as the premier sports betting game with outlets all across Jamaica," said Davidson.

"The CTL network allows us to tap into a wide network of bettors who are passionate about sports. In addition, we are pleased to be working alongside CTL in marketing and promoting Justbet among their core group of bettors."

In his address, Chris Armond, CTL's acting CEO and director of marketing, said, "We are looking forward to a long and excellent working relationship with Justbet and this should result in increased revenues to the OTBs."

For a minimum of $50, a lucky Justbet punter could win a maximum of $5 million.
