Businesswoman’s murder was a contract killing?
Police investigators say they believe the murder of 45-year-old businesswoman Elva Mullings in Portmore, St Catherine on Monday was a contract killing.
They are yet to arrest anyone in connection with the murder but say they are following several leads in identifying her killer.
Ms. Mulling, a general manager at Tools Hardware was shot three times after alighting her vehicle at her house at Sandal Wood Crescent.
Investigators have not ruled out robbery as the motive as they say they have received reports that a man was seen taking an item from Ms. Mullings’ vehicle.
Meanwhile, the woman’s friends are offering a reward of $1 million for information leading to the arrest of person or persons responsible for her death.
