Health Ministry may close Chinese restaurant in Mandeville
The health ministry is reporting that it will be making a decision today, whether to close the Chinese restaurant in Mandeville which has been linked to more than 18 cases of food poisoning.
According to the health ministry, its staff in Manchester has started an investigation into the incidents of food poison.
But the ministry says there has been difficulty in acquiring critical information from a private doctor who saw some of the patients.
AT THE SAME TIME... The health ministry is reporting that another Mandeville restaurant is being investigated for food poisoning.
It says three cases have been reported from that establishment.
IN THE MEANTIME... The health ministry is urging people to avoid eating sweet and sour chicken and fried rice in Mandeville.
