A former RBTT employee accused of defrauding a client of more than $2 million is scheduled to return to court today.

Reynardo Elliot, 22, of Ingleside, Mandeville, Manchester, worked at the Santa Cruz branch.

He was denied bail when he last appeared in the Santa Cruz Resident Magistrate Court on January 14.

The court was told that from June to December 2007, the accused withdrew money from the account of Lawrence Lembhard, owner and operator of Lembhard Service Station in Santa Cruz.

According to Mr. Lembhard, he observed irregularities to his lodgment accounts and the police were called in.

The accused was arrested and charged on December 31.
