Man arrested on gun charges in Congo, Trelawny

The Wakefield Police yesterday arrested a man in connection with the seizure of a firearm and one round of ammunition in Congo Town, Trelawny.
The Police say about 11:45 in the morning, they were travelling in the area when they observed a man with a bulge in his waist.
They say he was accosted and searched and a Smith and Wesson pistol and magazine containing one round of ammunition seized.
The police say his identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
