Investor and wealth manager Donovan Lewis will deliver the final lecture in St George’s College’s three-part series, ‘Pioneers of Tomorrow’, on Tuesday, December 2, at the Abe Issa Auditorium.

Lewis is expected to share insights from his career in business and finance while emphasising resilience, confidence and the courage to pursue entrepreneurship and leadership. Organisers said the presentation aims to inspire ambition and self-belief among young people.

The theme of resilience will carry particular weight in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, which disrupted school life and left families facing significant challenges. Lewis, founder of the Children’s Health, Education and Wealth (CHEW) Foundation, is expected to address those hardships. The foundation, working with partner organisations, has been providing short- and long-term recovery assistance to families directly affected.

CHEW advocates investment-driven philanthropy, supporting children in state care across Jamaica with programmes designed to secure more stable and prosperous futures.

Lewis is also the founder of the Ideal Group of Companies, a director of several financial institutions and a real estate developer.

The lecture series was launched to expose students to accomplished Jamaicans across diverse fields. Organisers said Lewis’s presentation will close the programme by underscoring that success is possible when vision is matched with determination.
