JSE clears EduFocal for return to trading
Trading in the ordinary shares of EduFocal Limited will resume on Friday, after the company submitted all outstanding financial statements, the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) announced Thursday.
"The Jamaica Stock Exchange has lifted the suspension of trading in the ordinary shares of EduFocal Limited (LEARN), effective Friday, December 5, 2025, as the LEARN has submitted all their financials, both audited and unaudited financial statement," the JSE said.
The company’s shares were suspended from trading in June after EduFocal failed to file its 2024 audited financial statements.
The JSE said the company’s financial statements were due on March 1, and were overdue by 93 days on June 2 when it issued the suspension.
Under JSE rules, listed companies are required to file audited annual financial statements within 90 days of the close of their financial year.
EduFocal, an online learning and exam preparation platform operated by entrepreneur Gordon Swaby, is listed on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, having gone public in 2022.
The Junior Market was established to allow investors to place capital in legitimate small and medium-sized companies.
