A security guard was allegedly robbed outside the GraceKennedy headquarters in downtown Kingston on Thursday, authorities confirmed.
GraceKennedy, a food and financial services giant, said in a statement that "a robbery occurred earlier this morning in the vicinity of our headquarters" on Habour Street.
"All GraceKennedy team members and contractors are safe and no one was harmed during the incident," the statement said, adding that its employees who were present when the crime was allegedly committed are being supported.
It said the matter is being handled by the police.
Police sources reported that the robbery was carried out by men on a motorbike.
