Man succumbs to injuries after being found in gully in Spanish Town

Police in Spanish Town, St Catherine, have launched an investigation into the death of a man who succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Sunday night, one day after he was found in a gully in critical condition.
The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old Orane Goldbourne, a labourer of Tawes Pen, Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Reports are that, about 4 a.m. on Saturday, passersby stumbled upon Goldbourne in a gully in in his community. He had a wound to the back of the head.
He was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital where he died about 10 p.m. on Sunday while undergoing treatment.
The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is conducting a probe into the matter.
