Relatives of Winston Watson are worried as they search for the elderly man, who went missing from his home in the Lethe district of Hanover last Tuesday.
Relatives said Watson, 78, was at home with his elderly wife and left the house while the woman went outside to feed chickens.
The incident reportedly occurred about 4:00 p.m.
“Boy, I am just very worried. He has dementia, and we have been searching several communities and still have not found him,” said Watson’s son, Winston, a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
“Outside of his dementia, this man is healthy, so he could have walked anywhere,” he added.
Winston Watson was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, and black-and-white Crocs when he was last seen.
