Woman found dead with throat slashed in St Ann

The police in St Ann are investigating the murder of a woman whose body was discovered with her throat slashed in Mammee Bay early Saturday morning.
She has not yet been identified.
The discovery was made shortly before 5:00 a.m.
The circumstances surrounding the killing are being probed, and investigators are working to determine the motive as well as the events leading up to the woman’s death.
The St Ann’s Bay Criminal Investigations Branch is leading the probe.
Anyone with information that could assist investigators is being urged to contact the police.
