A view of the Caribbean Cement Company's plant at Rockfort, showing smoke stacks of the two kilns in operation. At left is the stack of the new 100,000- ton-a-year kiln activated by the governor, Sir Kenneth Blackburne. A champagne party marked the occasion.
The kilns are no longer in operation as the Caribbean Cement Company has upgraded its plant with modern equipment. The company has a better parking area. A medical facility is at left.
