Update | Businessman murdered in Guy's Hill identified
The police have identified a businessman who was killed on Wednesday night by gunmen who were reportedly later fatally shot by cops in St Catherine.
He is Horace Crossman, otherwise called 'Goudie' of Benbow district, Middlesex, St Catherine.
Reports are that about 7 p.m. a man was walking along the Middlesex main road in Guy's Hill when he was attacked by two armed men who beat him with their guns.
The hoodlums then went to a shop operated by Crossman and demanded service, however he was not inside.
They then reportedly went outside to a shed where they found Crossman and fired shots at him.
They reportedly fled from the scene in a KIA motor car.
The police were summoned and Crossman was observed laying in a pool of blood in front of the shop. He had what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the left side of the neck.
He was taken to the Linstead Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
