Nickisha Pryce qualified for the women’s 400 metres final with the fastest time of 50.60 seconds in the semi-finals of the National Senior and Junior Championships (Trials) at the National Stadium tonight.

Pryce competing in semi-final three finished ahead of 400 metres hurdles champion Janieve Russell, who clocked 50.98 seconds.

Candice McLeod's 51.36 seconds was quickest in the first semi-final, finishing ahead of Stacey-Ann Williams in 51.14.

Charokee Young, the winner of semi-final two, crossed the tape in 50.99 seconds.

Pryce, McLeod and Young will be joined by Russell, Williams, Ronda Whyte, Shiann Salmon and Joanne Reid in today’s final set at 5:37 p.m..
