50-year-old man found injured in Portmore later dies

An early-morning discovery of an injured man in Portmore, St Catherine has triggered a police investigation after he was pronounced dead at hospital on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Steve Manning, otherwise called 'Cyclops', of Newlands in Portmore.
According to the police, at about 1a.m. on Monday, Manning man was seen along Agusta Drive in Independence City.
Police later found Manning unresponsive with a wound to the head.
He was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Detectives attached to the Portmore Criminal Investigation Branch are conducting investigations into the matter.
